Vision for Brampton

 
I would like to see Brampton's growing community have all the services to accomodate its needs.

Brampton is a community rich in diversity, with a population of long time residents as well as a young and vibrant new population. 
Our ethnically diverse newer immigrants and their families from various backgrounds represent culturally rich parts of the world.

My Concerns:
Thus far, the focus has been to build and build with no vision or concern for the people of Brampton.
The horrendous traffic, lack of recreational services for youth, the diminishing amount of green space, the increasing crime rates and the lack of adequate healthcare are proof of that.
Long time residents want to move out of Brampton because of these concerns.

The longest WAIT TIME for healthcare at BCH

 I intend to
  • Sustain our GREEN SPACES & reduce further TRAFFIC delays by minimizing further URBAN SPRAWL in Brampton
  • Reduce the rate of CRIME by working on building facilities for youth and increasing recreational space for youth
  • Work with the City to ensure Bramptonians HEALTHCARE needs are being met

    Reduce Urban Sprawl:We want local people to have the opportunity to live healthy and fulfilling lives. Ward 2,6  has the potential to PROTECT existing green spaces foto its citizens.
    Crime:People's well being is being jeopardized and threatened by crime and families don't feel safe in their own homes. I will work with Police and the community to identify what works to make Brampton a safer place.
    Healthcare:    While building of hospitals is a provincial issue, there is an onus on municipalities to ensure Bramptonians needs are being met. I will work with the various levels of government to ensure our emergency wait times are reduced    

    My Platform:
    I will get the homeless off the streets and give them help with housing that they can afford.
    I will stop the further urban sprawl
    I will ensure sustainable development over uncontrolled growth
    I will listen to the concerns of citizens of Brampton Ward 2, 6 and respect their input
    I will ensure adequate infrastructure and services to accommodate the uncontrolled growth in Brampton 
    Promote economic viability for our citizens to benefit from

    This vision can be reality when we work together as a community.

    I have worked on many grassroots efforts and organisation lead for the past two decades, and I truly believe more can be achieved when we work hand in hand.

    Its time to vote for change.
    A change for a better future.
